Natural Food in Dallas

If you are anywhere within a 25 mile radius of Dallas, this is a place you must check out! While on a road trip, my husband and I were looking for primal eats and luckily found Origin. Not only are they a craft coffee shop and café but they also have paleo meals to go. Yes! Paleo! I'm not talking about something that will pass as a semi-solution. These meals are made with organic, pastured, grass-fed AND local ingredients. That also means (I know you know this) dairy-free, grain-free, gluten-free and most importantly worry-free! Needless to say, we were there more than once in our 3 days passing through. We stocked up on meals to get us to our next destination and every bite was awesome.

All I can say is: We as a primal/paleo community need to rally around places like this and hope they appear in a city near us. Like them on Facebook. I do.

Organic Eggs in Duluth

Duluth Grill has organic egg breakfast, grass-fed beef, bison and wild salmon. You can get crashed sweet potatoes as a side for any of their sandwiches or burgers and checkout the menu for the gluten-free items. There are numerous choices for primal and paleo meals that clearly are put together with quality ingredients in mind.
This place has all your meals covered from breakfast to lunch to dinner and is open as early as 7 AM.

Fine Dining in Omaha

Dolce in Omaha prides itself on local ingredients and quality. They offer 100% grass-fed ground beef burgers and meatball sandwich. They make it a point to let you know where their ingredients come from and most likely can answer any specific questions about their menu items. They also offer organic chicken among many other organic ingredients.

Fine Dining
Emmer & Rye has links on their menu to tell you exactly which local farm or market the ingredients came from. "In 2010, Caswell opened emmer&rye in a restored Victorian house on the top of Queen Anne Hill to further his vision of "locally derived, seasonally inspired" cuisine. Here, Caswell creates dishes that showcase the best ingredients the Pacific Northwest has to offer."

Thanks Ryan! This is a great find.

Quick Bites
Dick's Kitchen began on the principles of the paleolithic way of eating. All I know is I saw elk burger on the menu and I'm sold. "Dick’s Kitchen, perhaps the country’s first Stone Age Diner, embraces these challenges by offering modestly priced and delicious fare that will leave you feeling nourished and happy."

Thanks Todd! Looks great.
I will definitely start making a list for worldwide places.

Oh if only I were taking a trip to Dallas...
Thanks again Luke - "The most primal/paleo friendly restaurant I have ever been to."
